Report: Third night in the basecamp

Place: Gasherbrum basecamp, apx. 5 150 above sea level
"Friday night we arrived - tired, and exhausted to the expeditions basecamp - Gasherbrum Basecamp. The hike was very difficult yet spectacular. Everone is alright except for Magnus cold and Stefan is starting to feel ill.

Several of our carriers have returned to their respective village, and we are discussing where we should place the Advance basecamp and find a secure way up through the ice falls. Johan, Magnus and myself started to climb at 3.00 am, the cold nights strengthen the snow bridges."
