- Saturday May 31 Ingrid Jansson reporting from Arlanda: "During the first summerday in Sweden we stod at Arlanda and waved the expedition goodbye. Who were on their way to ice and -40 C - Hidden Peak in the massive korakoram. During the morning we discovered that a wrong cord hard been delivered for the satellite equipement. So, on his way to Arlanda, Magnus had to stop by the electronic store to purcase the correct cord. Kind on nerveracking!
A nervous feeling ran in the air - did we have everything ? Everything seemed to be in order because at weigh-in the baggage barely weighed 500 kg. Photograps and goodbyes from loved ones and friends who were present. 5.30 pm the transport plane to Copenhagen departed.
